Garden Beginnings

Okay, so that picture isn't the best, but that's okay. One of the things I am working on is not worrying about what others may think. So the picture stays. New beginnings.

My husband and I moved to our current location 19 months ago. Not long after we had gotten our garden started, with the help of my mom - who has a very green thumb, my husband ended up in the hospital with a quadruple bypass among other things. To say we weren't able to tend to our garden as we wanted to would be an understatement. I mean, the sugar snap pea seedlings already look better now than they did all season in our garden last spring. LOL But we did get a fairly good amount. In fact, I still have some frozen butternut squash.

We are jumping in this year with high hopes. If everything we plant grows as we hope, we're going to have an amazing crop! We'll be sharing plenty, I'm sure of it.

When I made my moon water a couple of weeks ago during the new moon, my intention was to use it for our seedlings and garden. I asked a blessing of our garden to nourish our bodies. It is important for us to take care of ourselves. If I am going to live with more intention, it will be to take better care of myself. And honestly, what better way than to use the bounty that the Earth provides for us?

More garden updates to come.

Blessings,

k
